Picador Plc are delighted to announce exciting plans for a multi-million-pound redevelopment of their Chandlers Ford site. The Bournemouth Road dealership which is home to Picador Vauxhall has plans with the local council to include the removal of the petrol station, paving way for a display for 100 used cars, two further bays to the workshop, additional office space, more customer parking and also increasing the capacity of the new car showroom to seven cars.
The dealership which has been home to Picador since 1999 has outgrown the current facility. The improved development will enhance the offering for both new and existing customers, giving more choice, space, improved facilities and the very latest Vauxhall showroom CI.
Commenting on the plans, Picador Plc Managing Director, Sir Robert Oakeley said, “We are very excited – as a business we are always striving to deliver excellence and enhancing our site will give our Chandlers Ford customers the very best at Picador and Vauxhall. I would like to emphasise that during the redevelopment, it’s very much business as usual for both sales and aftersales customers. Every effort will be made to make the experience as seamless as possible.”
Work started on the site on Monday 29th October and should be completed in the first quarter of 2019.
