5 YEARS WARRANTY
The 5 year warranty consists of the standard 3 years manufacturer warranty and 2 further years of insurance based warranty as supplied by CarCare Plan. The following mile limitations apply.
2 years - Unlimited Mileage
3 years - 60,000 Miles
5 years - 100,000 Miles
Warranty claims for 3 years/60,000 miles (unlimited first 2 years) are processed in the usual way via Kerridge. Warranty claims outside these parameters are processed through CarCare Plan's electronic claims system.
5 YEARS SERVICING
Customers will have the benefit of 5 years (up to a maximum of 50,000 miles) free servicing.
As with fixd price servicing, retailers should select each service on Kerridge as it is carried out, in line with the manufactures's schedule and Aftersales Policies and Procedures. This will then be reimbursed via monthly self billed credit note.
5 YEARS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
The vehicle will qualify for 5 years roadside assistance from the date of registration. This will be provided by the AA in the same way as the current 1 year cover. Chverolet U.K. Limited employs the services of the Automobile Association, the UK's leading break down assistance organisation, to bring you Chevrolet Assistance, our fully comprehensive roadside assistance package, avaliable 24 hours a day, everyday of the year. Chevrolet Assistance is only avaliable in connection with te Chevrolet vehicle to which it relates.
5 YEARS CHEVROLET MOT TEST WARRANTY
The MOT Test Warranty covers the 1st, 2nd and 3rd MOTs that are due when the car reaches 3,4 and 5 years old. Only the cost of the MOT Warranty is covered. NOT the cost of the MOT fee, which the customer is responsible for. The MOT warranty ensures that should the vehicle fail its MOT test, it will be covered for almost all faults identified as part of the MOT inspection up to a maximum amount/liability of £750 per claim (including VAT)
5 YEARS ANNUAL VEHICLE HEALTH CHECK
Retailers should provide this by simply carrying out a Vehicle Health Check in each of the first 5 years. It is recommended that this is not carried out at the same time as the service. Instead it should be at the mid-point between services i.e. six months after the service or earlier for higher mileage drivers. This will allow you to identify potential profit oppourtunities not covered by the 5 year Promise (e.g. Tyres, brakes, etc.) and maintain regular contact with the customer.
